Freeware- Computer software that is available to you for no cost

I use freeware by downloading free apps on my iPod and downloaded the internet that is free.

Shareware- refers to proprietary software that is provided to users without payment on a trial basis and is often limited by any combination of functionality, availability or convenience.

I use Shareware by downloading a demo for a game and downloading stuff from the internet.

Open source- describes practices in production and development that promote access to the end product's source materials

I use my blog and that’s the only thing I use.

Commercial Software- is computer software that is produced for sale

I use commercial software by paying for iPod apps and buying stuff off the internet.
